We prefer plant-based dishes but make exceptions. Since HF, I learned how to make sooo many meals (soups, sauces, risottos, steak, lobster tail.) and often choose dishes to learn something new. I couldn't really cook before I started HF and I have always been a picky eater. I think it really depends on your local HF distribution center - I live in upstate New York state and have been happy with quality and service overall. I've been using HF since 2017 and have fewer issues with delayed deliveries or bad produce than I see other people report on reddit. So it depends on your location if it will be good! At my old place at least 1 thing out of each meal was moldy. However, my HF experience only turned positive when I moved to another place where most ingredients are actually good. It feels rewarding to eat self made food. Most stuff is SOOOO EASY to make and doesnt take long and if it takes long its usually worth the time. I feel bad if I dont cook the meals because they are so expensive so I get myself to cook them after all so I spend some time standing instead of laying in bed I eat quite healthy food (better than frozen pizza or ordering out). I literally get exactly enough food with HelloFresh! I dont buy too many groceries and throw most of it away because it goes bad. I dont need to go grocery shopping which is hard with depression (and PTSD) the occasional bad tomatoes (that i just leave out then, no big deal imo) I am diagnosed with depression and PTSD so I will speak about my experience with HelloFresh´ :)
